The Center offers a comprehensive program for seniors afflicted with dementia, Alzheimers, or the frailties of advanced age. It features structured activities designed to enhance daily physical health.
The program is language and cultural appropriate. It allows elderly citizens, who would otherwise be at home alone, or depending on a family caregiver, to spend daytime hours with their peers.
The Center is funded by Pierce County Aging and Long-Term Care Department, Office of Public Instruction, Korean Womens Assoc. and public donations. It has been nationally recognized for its outstanding program.
