The program targets those adults who are in the middle stages of Alzheimers Disease. Staff attend to the personal care needs of participants.
Activities are tailored to the abilities of individual participants. They are encouraged to socialize with each other, make new friends, and enjoy themselves. Pets, children and entertainment groups visit and interact with participants. Creative arts activities allow participants to express thoughts and feelings in a socially appropriate manner. Exercise sessions promote muscle tone, balance, coordination and flexibility.
Seniors receive respite healthcare, support and supervision at this Adult Day Health Care Program.
